Our ESG Committee is comprises of eight team members who spearhead ESG initiatives across our company, including the creation of our Sustainability Policy.

We are committed to creating and adopting innovative ideas and business practices to improve our communities, the natural environment, and operational efficiencies, while enhancing stakeholder experiences.
Salthill is committed to exceptional corporate governance to promote the long-term success of our company. The ESG committee is comprised of passionate sustainability leaders representing various groups and departments within our organization. With the Chief Executive Officer as the program’s executive sponsor, the committee’s mandate is to oversee our ESG program and make meaningful and ambitious recommendations to our senior leadership team, aligned with our corporate strategy.
Green Buildings Certification Programs At Salthill
We are committed to enhancing long-term asset value through responsible property management and sustainability-focused operations. By incorporating recognized green building certifications and performance programs into our asset strategies, we support operational efficiency, environmental leadership, and stronger outcomes for investors, tenants, and communities.
These certifications help validate building performance, improve tenant experience, and reinforce our broader ESG framework across the portfolio.
Fund 5 is Salthill’s GRESB ESG-focused offering, providing investors with an opportunity to invest in sustainably managed properties.
These properties may include retail centers in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec. In 2024, we continued to build our Fund 5 portfolio. To ensure that our Fund 5 buildings operate sustainably, we place a strong emphasis on improving our energy and water efficiency, reducing our carbon footprint, and implementing best practices in waste management. Some of our recent actions include:
Tracking and benchmarking our energy, carbon, water, and waste metrics.
Committing to obtain BOMA BEST certification for all properties.
Developing reduction targets for energy, carbon emissions, and water consumption.
